At the moment there are vacancies for all voices.
When? Where?
We rehearse every Thursday in St Clement Danes Church, Strand (map) from 7.15pm - 9pm.
Audition?
We like you to come to a couple of rehearsals to see if you like the choir and then there is a short audition. You will need to have a good voice (obviously), good sight-reading skills, but most of all - commitment!
Cost?
Subs are £75 (£35 concession) for the year. This allows us to hire the rehearsal venue, music and put on exciting and varied concerts. If you have any difficulties in paying subs, do not hesitate to speak to the General Manager. We would rather have good singers than lose people who cannot afford to pay subs at the moment!
Solo opportunities?
We like to draw all soloists, if possible, from the choir, and there will be numerous solo opportunities.
Social side?
We think that the social side of the choir is equally important to the music, and congregate at the local pub after every rehearsal. We also have a social secretary who organises other events.
If you would like to get involved in the running of the choir, we are always pleased to have more help. Just ask a member of the committee.
